June at ROHI: Building for the Future

As we look back on June, we’re filled with gratitude for all God continues to do through ROHI. This month was a beautiful reminder that we are not just building classrooms, but building lives, strengthening families, and creating hope for future generations.

Celebrating World Environment Day

Our students, parents, and teachers celebrated World Environment Day in a fun and creative way by transforming recycled materials into useful and beautiful projects for our school.

Using old tires, wooden pallets, cable spools, and other recycled materials, families worked together to create colorful benches, planters, tables, games, and decorations that will continue serving our students for years to come.

The creativity, teamwork, and excitement were incredible to see. More importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to work side by side while learning the importance of caring for God’s creation and being good stewards of the resources He provides. Our New Campus Is Officially Underway!

One of the most exciting milestones in ROHI’s history became a reality this month.

The purchase of our new property is complete, and the land is officially ours!

After years of praying, planning, and trusting God, we now have a permanent home for ROHI.

Construction is already moving forward. Work has begun on the perimeter fence that will provide security for the property, and the footings for the future kitchen are underway as we prepare for the first multipurpose building.

This new campus will provide a much safer environment for our children by eliminating the dangerous highway crossing they currently make each school day. It will also allow ROHI to continue serving children for generations to come.

We are deeply grateful to every donor whose generosity has helped bring this dream to reality.

Grace Calvary Chapel Blesses ROHI

We were also thankful to welcome a team from Grace Calvary Chapel, who spent time serving at ROHI this month.

One of their projects was constructing a much-needed storage shed on the new property. This practical addition will provide valuable storage space as construction continues and our campus grows.

We are so thankful for churches and volunteers who generously give their time, talents, and hearts to serve alongside the ROHI family.

Day of the Student

Our annual Day of the Student celebration was filled with laughter, games, and friendly competition.

This year’s theme was the World Cup, and students proudly represented different countries while participating in fun activities throughout the day. It was wonderful to see so much joy, teamwork, and school spirit as our children celebrated together.

Moments like these remind us that childhood should include opportunities to laugh, play, and simply enjoy being a child.

Mid-Year Parent/Teacher Conferences

June also included our mid-year Parent/Teacher Conferences.

These meetings give parents the opportunity to review their child’s academic progress, celebrate successes, discuss challenges, and work together with our teachers to help every student continue growing.

One of ROHI’s greatest strengths is the partnership we share with parents. Together, we are investing not only in each child’s education but also in their future.

Thank You

Whether you sponsor a child, pray faithfully, volunteer, or give financially, you are making these moments possible.

From creative environmental projects… to joyful celebrations… to the beginning of our permanent campus… every life being changed at ROHI is a testimony to God’s faithfulness working through people like you.

Thank you for walking alongside the children and families of ROHI. We are excited to see what God has planned in the months ahead.
