A NEW SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS!
We praise God for the opportunity to welcome our students back to ROHI for another year of learning, growth, and transformation! His faithfulness continues to guide us, and we are deeply grateful for His provision—and for you, our generous donors—who make this mission possible.
On February 4th, the campus came alive with energy as students, both new and returning, stepped into their classrooms ready to embrace new opportunities. Teachers prepared engaging lessons, and the year began with a renewed commitment to academic excellence, faith, and personal growth. Thanks to your support, children who once faced uncertain futures now have the opportunity to thrive. We’re excited for all that’s ahead in 2025 and deeply grateful for the role you play in making it possible!
VALENTINE’S DAY CELEBRATION: A DAY OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP
On February 14th, our students celebrated Valentine’s Day with joy and enthusiasm! It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, handmade cards, and acts of kindness. Staff and students exchanged words of appreciation, reminding each other of the importance of love, friendship, and community. This special day was a reflection of the values we hold dear at ROHI, and thanks to your generosity, our students continue to experience a safe and loving environment where they can grow in faith and friendship.
THE CRUZ FAMILY: A STORY OF GRATITUDE AND HOPE
For the past 11 years, Marina has worked in the Tegucigalpa city dump, enduring the daily hardships of this challenging environment. Last year, she came to ROHI in search of a school for her twin daughters, Isua and Isimey. Having experienced the struggles of life in the dump firsthand, Marina was overjoyed when her daughters were given the opportunity to receive a quality education in a safe and loving environment.
Because of your generosity, Isua and Isimey are now thriving at ROHI, embracing their education and dreaming of a brighter future. Marina is deeply grateful to God and to you for making this possible. Her story is a testament to the power of faith, education, and community.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for making a lasting difference in the lives of families like the Cruz family. Stories like theirs remind us why your support matters—every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and hope for a better tomorrow, regardless of their circumstances. Facing challenges that would seem insurmountable to many, this family has found strength through faith and education.

THANK YOU CARDS: ART FROM OUR CHILDREN, FOR YOU TO USE
This month, we mailed out beautiful blank thank-you cards featuring artwork created by our students. These cards are meant for you, our generous donors, to use and share gratitude with others.

CHILD SPONSORSHIP DRIVE: CHANGE A LIFE TODAY!
Imagine being a child eager to learn but uncertain if your education will continue because there’s no sponsor to support you. As of March 1st, 79 students at ROHI are still waiting for someone to say, “I believe in you.”
On February 24th, we launched our Child Sponsorship Drive with a bold goal—to find sponsors for 42 students by March 31st. Thanks to generous supporters like you, five students were sponsored this past week and already have hope for a brighter future. But so many are still waiting.
Sponsoring a child is more than just financial support—it’s a lifeline. It provides education, meals, mentorship, and the chance to dream beyond the circumstances they were born into. When you sponsor a child, you’re not just helping them—you’re changing their future.
